What is Baseball?
Baseball is a fun game played with a bat and a ball. Two teams of nine players each take turns trying to score runs. Runs happen when players hit the ball and run around four bases on the field.
Where Did Baseball Come From?
Baseball started from old games in England. It was brought to North America and grew into the game we love today. Now, baseball is played all over the world! It is very popular in the United States, Japan, South Korea, and many other places.
How Do You Play Baseball?
Each team takes turns batting and fielding. When itβs their turn to bat, players try to hit the ball thrown by the pitcher. If they hit the ball, they run to first base and try to go all the way around to home plate to score a run. The other team tries to stop them by getting three outs. When three outs are made, the teams switch places.
