Classical music is beautiful music that has been made for hundreds and hundreds of years. It is from the Western world, which includes places like Europe. This kind of music is very special because it is written down with notes, so many people can play it together.

Long ago, people played classical music in churches and special places like palaces. Famous composers like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven wrote amazing pieces that people still love today. They made music with orchestras, which are groups of musicians playing many different instruments together.

Classical music can make you feel all sorts of emotions. Some pieces are happy and lively, while others are calm and quiet. Today, you can hear classical music in concert halls, on the radio, and even in movies. It is enjoyed all around the world.

People who love classical music often learn to play it very well. They study for many years to understand the notes and feelings in the music. Whether you listen to it or play it, classical music is a wonderful way to enjoy beautiful sounds.
