Corvidae
Corvidae is a family of very smart birds. This group includes crows, ravens, magpies, jays, and many more. There are 135 different kinds of these birds! The biggest of them all is the raven, which is a type of passerine bird.
These birds are known for how clever they are. Scientists have found that many corvids can solve hard problems and even make tools. Their brains are big compared to their bodies, similar to animals like apes and whales.
Corvids live all around the world, except in the very cold places and the far south of South America. You can find them in Central America, Asia, and Australasia. They live in forests, parks, and even near people.
Corvids are medium to large birds with strong beaks and legs. Their feathers are often black or blue, but some tropical birds are very colorful. The smallest corvid is the dwarf jay, and the largest is the common raven.
People often see corvids in stories and traditions. For example, some Native Americans believed ravens helped create the earth. In many cultures, these birds are seen as clever messengers or symbols of wisdom. They are also popular characters in books and poems.
The Corvidae family has many different birds, including:

- Treepies
- Oriental magpies

- Nutcrackers

- True crows (crows, ravens, jackdaws and rooks)
