In the past, fancy dances like the minuet were played at parties and concerts. Later, Swing music became very popular in the 1930s in America. Then, rock and roll made everyone dance in the 1950s. New styles kept coming, like salsa dance and disco.

Today, many people enjoy electronic dance music. This music is made with special machines and is played in nightclubs, on the radio stations, and at big parties called raves. There are many kinds of electronic dance music, each with its own fun beat.

Dance music brings people together. It is used in many places, from quiet parties to big festivals. Whether you are tapping your foot or dancing with friends, dance music makes everyone feel happy!
