Dog

Dogs are wonderful friends that live with people all around the world. They come from wolves, which are their wild cousins. People have kept dogs as pets for thousands of years, even before they started farming.
Dogs can be many different sizes, shapes, and colors. Some are very big, like the Great Dane, and some are very small, like the Chihuahua. They have strong noses and can smell much better than people. Their ears also help them hear very well.
Dogs love to play and can be very helpful. They can keep homes safe, help guide people who cannot see well, and even work with police. Because they are so smart and friendly, dogs are often called man's best friend. They bring joy and love to many families everywhere.
Dogs live in many places, from Siberia to the United States. No matter where they are, dogs make great companions and are loved by people of all ages.
