Foxes are very clever. They appear in stories and traditions all over the world. In some places, people think foxes are tricky and smart. In others, they are seen as magical or wise spirits. Foxes can live in forests, deserts, and even cities. They eat many things, like bugs, small animals, birds, eggs, and plants.
Foxes come in many colors and sizes. The tiny fennec fox has big ears to stay cool in the desert. The Arctic fox has thick fur to stay warm in cold places. Some foxes, like the gray fox, can even climb trees!
