Welcome to Montana!

Montana is a big, beautiful state in the western part of the United States. It has wide-open spaces, tall mountains, and lots of nature to explore. Montana shares borders with Idaho to the west, North Dakota to the east, South Dakota to the southeast, and Wyoming to the south. It also touches three Canadian provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Nature and Outdoors

Montana is known for its amazing landscapes. It is one of the largest states and has many forests, rivers, and lakes. You can find beautiful spots like Glacier National Park and parts of Yellowstone National Park. These places are great for hiking, fishing, and seeing wild animals like grizzly bears and elk.

The capital of Montana is Helena, but the biggest city is Billings. People in Montana enjoy a calm, country life with lots of space. The state is famous for its ranches and farms, where people raise cattle and grow crops.
