What is a National Park?
A national park is a special place where nature is protected. These areas are chosen because they are very beautiful, have important history, or have special meaning to people. Governments take care of these lands to keep them safe for everyone to enjoy now and in the future.
People love to visit national parks. They can go hiking, camp, or watch animals. National parks are found all over the world. Each country has its own way of taking care of these special places.
Famous National Parks
One of the first national parks ever made was Yellowstone National Park in the United States. It was created in 1872 to protect its amazing nature. Another early park is Bogd Khan Uul Mountain in Mongolia. Today, there are thousands of national parks everywhere!
Why We Have National Parks
National parks help us remember important places in nature and history. They let people learn about nature, enjoy beautiful views, and have fun outdoors. Park rangers work hard to keep these places safe and beautiful for everyone.
