Samba

Samba is a happy and lively kind of music and dance from Brazil. It began a long time ago with music from West Africa, brought by people who moved to Brazil. Today, samba is one of the most famous parts of Brazilian culture.

People love samba for its fun rhythms and dances. It is often played with special drums like the pandeiro, surdo, and tamborim, plus guitars. These instruments make the beats that make everyone want to dance!

Samba is very important during Brazilian Carnival. Big parades happen in cities like Rio de Janeiro, where people dress in bright costumes and dance to the samba music. It brings friends and families together to celebrate.

Many different kinds of samba exist now, like bossa nova and samba de enredo. Each has its own special style, but they all share the joyful spirit of samba. This music and dance make people smile and feel happy wherever it is played.
