930 Poydras is a tall building with 21 stories. It is 270.31 feet (82.4 meters) high. The building is in New Orleans, Louisiana on Poydras Street. Poydras Street is a main road in the city's Central Business District.
This building is special because it was the tallest building finished in New Orleans during the 2010s. It was also the first residential skyscraper built after Hurricane Katrina.
Some people believe the building was paid for using special money from the United States Congress to help the city recover. Others think different money was used. There was a court case about damage to nearby buildings. Even so, the building's design has won many awards.

The building at 930 Poydras is the first residential high-rise built in downtown New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. It is located on Poydras Street, the main street in the city's Central Business District. The building is 21 stories tall and was completed in the 2010s. It includes 250 apartments, a parking garage, and a coffee bar and movie screening lounge on the 9th floor.
Designed by EskewDumezRipple, the building has a mix of glass and other materials. It was built quickly to meet a deadline for special government financing meant to help the city recover after the hurricane. The building includes special spaces for residents to gather, like a pool and fitness center.
