Manaiakalani
Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience
Mānaiakalani is a special group of stars known as a constellation in Polynesian culture. Its name means "The Chief's Fishline." It tells a story about a powerful demi-god named Māui.
In the stories, Māui used a big fishhook to pull huge fish from the ocean. These fish became the islands where people now live.
The constellation Mānaiakalani is mainly formed by the stars in the constellation Scorpius, which looks like a scorpion. It also includes a group of stars called the Navigator's Triangle. These stars helped ancient Polynesian people navigate across the ocean. They guided people to new places and helped them travel safely.
