Karim Alexander Adiprasito (born in 1988) is a German mathematician who works in the field of combinatorics at the Institut de mathématiques de Jussieu – Paris Rive Gauche. He completed his PhD in 2013 at the Free University Berlin under the supervision of Günter M. Ziegler. Over the years, he has held positions at the Hebrew University and the University of Copenhagen, and since 2022, he has been a Directeur de Recherche with the CNRS at Sorbonne University.

Adiprasito has received many awards for his important contributions to mathematics. In 2015, he was awarded the European Prize in Combinatorics for his work in discrete geometry, especially his solutions to old problems about polytopes and projectively unique polyhedra. In 2019, he shared the New Horizons Prize for Early-Career Achievement in Mathematics, associated with the Breakthrough Prize in Mathematics, along with June Huh and Eric Katz.

Together with Huh and Katz, he solved the Heron–Rota–Welsh conjecture about the log-concavity of the characteristic polynomial of matroids. In more recent work, Adiprasito, along with Bruno Benedetti, solved the Hirsch conjecture for certain kinds of spaces called flag triangulations of manifolds. In 2018, he also proved a major part of Peter McMullen’s g-conjecture for shapes known as simplicial spheres, earning him the 2020 EMS Prize from the European Mathematical Society. His work continues to influence the world of mathematics.
