WB1200, also called 1200 Stewart, is a planned twin skyscraper complex in the Denny Triangle neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. It will sit at the crossing of Stewart Street and Denny Way. The project includes 1,048 apartments and shops in two very tall buildings, each 48 stories high.
The shops will be in a special three-story base with a big indoor space shaped like a gallery. One special plan is to put a real Boeing 747-400 airplane body there for people to see.
Building started in 2018, but it will not finish until 2026. This is five years later than people first thought. The Westbank Corporation started the project, but then OPTrust bought it later.
History
The site at 1200 Stewart Street in Seattle has been planned for tall buildings since the late 2000s. Different companies suggested building tall towers with homes, hotels, and shops there.
Construction started in 2018 but faced delays due to financial issues, a pandemic, and labor problems. A new contractor took over in 2023. The project now includes parts of a real Boeing airplane and is expected to open in 2026.
