ArenaBowl XXVI
ArenaBowl XXVI
ArenaBowl XXVI was the 26th big game of the Arena Football League. The Arizona Rattlers from the National Conference won against the Philadelphia Soul from the American Conference. The score was 48–39. The game took place on August 17, 2013, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. This is where the Orlando Predators play.
These two teams had played in the championship the year before in ArenaBowl XXV. The Arizona Rattlers won that game too. This was the first time the same two teams met in the ArenaBowl for two years in a row.
Ryan Johnston and his company, InterPhase Entertainment, LLC, organized events around ArenaBowl XXVI. They planned special activities like an awards party and a concert by the band KISS the night before the game. The ArenaBowl was shown live on CBS for everyone to see.
Venue
ArenaBowl XXVI was held at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. All 14 teams chose this place for the game. This was the second time in a row that the ArenaBowl was played at a neutral site and the seventh time ever. For Orlando, it was the first ArenaBowl since 2000, when the Orlando Predators won against the Nashville Katz at the old Amway Arena.
Television
ArenaBowl XXVI was shown on CBS. This was part of a two-year deal to show weekly regular season games and two postseason games on the CBS Sports Network.
