At.mosphere is a special restaurant on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the world’s highest restaurant, sitting 441.3 meters (1,447 feet) above the ground.
This restaurant offers great views and a special experience for visitors. It is led by head chef Yannis Sgard, who is from Paris. People can enjoy tasty food while being very high up in the sky.
History
At.mosphere opened on January 23, 2011. It has a bar, lounge, and restaurant. On August 11, 2022, the restaurant closed for six months to be renovated and reopened in February the next year with a new look. In 2011, it was named the highest restaurant from the ground level by the Guinness World Records.
The restaurant has won many awards. It was recommended in the 2024 edition of the Michelin Guide Dubai, won the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2014 and 2024, received the Time Out Dubai Best Romantic Restaurant award in 2022, and was named the World's Best Landmark Restaurant by the World Culinary Awards in 2023.
