Biathlon at the 1998 Winter Olympics
The biathlon at the 1998 Winter Olympics was a special part of the games where athletes competed in skiing and shooting. There were six different biathlon events. These events took place in Nozawa Onsen.
The competitions started on February 9th and finished on February 21st, 1998. Biathlon is exciting because it mixes two sports—skiing long distances and shooting at targets with a rifle. This made the 1998 Winter Olympics a memorable time for fans of this sport.
