The Cabo Verdean diaspora means people from Cape Verde moving to live in other parts of the world, both long ago and today. Many Cabo Verdeans now live outside of Cape Verde, more than those who stay there.

The United States has the most Cabo Verdeans living away from home. Many families and communities have started new lives in different places, but they still hold on to their culture and traditions from Cape Verde.
