Cayman Islands at the Pan American Games

Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience

Government Ensign of the Cayman Islands.

The Cayman Islands has joined the Pan American Games every year since 1987. The Pan American Games is a large sports event where athletes from North, South, and Central America compete in many sports.

The Cayman Islands did not join the only Pan American Winter Games in 1990. This was a special version of the games for winter sports, but the Cayman Islands chose not to take part in that event. Since then, they have continued to send athletes to every regular Pan American Games.

Joining these games lets athletes from the Cayman Islands compete with others from across the Americas. It helps them show their skills, make new friends, and possibly qualify for larger international competitions.
