The Clear Fork Group is a special group of rocks found in the Texas Red Beds. These rocks are very old and have kept many fossils from long ago. The fossils are from the Permian period, which was millions of years before the dinosaurs lived. Studying these rocks and fossils helps scientists learn about life and Earth from that ancient time.
