Dominica at the Olympics

Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience

The Flag of Dominica.

Dominica first joined the Olympic Games in 1996 and has been in every Summer Olympic Games since then. The country has only been in the Winter Olympic Games once, in 2014.

The Dominica Olympic Committee began in 1993 and was recognized in 1998.

Recently, Dominica had a big win at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Thea LaFond won the country's first Olympic medal—a gold medal—in the women's triple jump competition. This was a happy moment for athletes from smaller countries.
