Doris Patiño

Doris Esmid Patiño Marín (born May 1, 1986, in Sogamoso, Boyacá) is a Colombian taekwondo athlete. She is known for her success in big competitions.

Doris won a silver medal in the 57 kg class at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. She also won a bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada.

Doris qualified for the women's 57 kg class at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She got her spot by finishing third in the Pan American Qualification Tournament in Cali, Colombia. In Beijing, she competed in the first round but did not win. Doris’s hard work has made her respected in taekwondo.
