Emblem of Afghanistan
Adapted from Wikipedia Β· Adventurer experience
The national emblem of Afghanistan is a national symbol of Afghanistan's government. Since 1901 it has often been featured on the flag of Afghanistan.
The current emblem shows an open Quran with a sun rising behind it. Below this is a stylised Mosque with a minbar and a mihrab. There is writing in Arabic under the mosque.
Under the writing is a date in the Hijri Calendar. This date marks a special day for Afghanistan. The emblem also shows wheat and a cogwheel, with two crossed swords at the bottom.
