Erik Hoffmann (born 22 August 1981) is a Namibian professional road bicycle racer. He was born in Windhoek.

After finishing his studies, Hoffmann started his career in professional cycling, and he is still racing today.

In 2001, he went to the University of Stuttgart in Germany to study Electrical Engineering. From 2002 to 2004, he was part of Team Stuttgardia Stuttgart. Since then, Hoffmann has been racing in events all over the world as a professional cyclist.

Palmarès

Erik Hoffmann has had many great successes in his cycling career. In 2003, he won a silver medal at the All African Games in Abuja, Nigeria. In 2007, he won a gold medal at the National Road Championships and a silver medal at the B World Championships in Cape Town. Hoffmann placed 21st in the cycling events at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. He also won bronze medals at the African Championships in Namibia in 2009, in both the road race and individual time trial events.
