Atlanta is a city where people can enjoy many fun festivals and events all year long because of its nice weather and many trees. One of the most popular festivals is the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. This arts and crafts festival happens each spring in Piedmont Park when the beautiful dogwood flowers are blooming.

Another exciting event is Atlanta Streets Alive. This idea comes from Bogotá, Colombia, where they have a special event called ciclovía. During Atlanta Streets Alive, some city streets are closed to cars. This gives people a safe space to enjoy many fun activities together, like bicycling, strolling, skating, watching others, tango, yoga, hula hooping, and even break dancing.
