Department of Fisheries

Department of Forest

The Department of Forest is part of the Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department in Punjab, Pakistan. It was started in 1886 when Pakistan was ruled by Britain. Its job is to help grow, protect, and use the province’s forest resources wisely.

The department follows rules from the Forest Act of 1927, which was updated in 2010.

Wildlife Department

The Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department began in 1934 as the Game Department. Its job is to look after wildlife, protect animals and plants, and keep their homes safe.

The department follows rules from the Punjab wildlife Protection, Preservation, Conservation & Management Act, 1974.
