Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience
The China International Silk Road Center (simplified Chinese: 西安绿地中心; traditional Chinese: 西安綠地中心, formerly Greenland Center) is a very tall building being planned in Xi'an, a city in Shaanxi, China. When it is built, it will be 498 meters (1,634 feet) tall. This will make it the tallest building planned for Xi'an.
The building’s height was changed from the original plan of 501 meters (1,644 feet) because of new rules in China. The project is being worked on by the Greenland Group. This center will be an important part of Xi'an when it is completed.
History
Construction on the Greenland Center in Xi'an began in 2019. It was first planned to be 501 meters tall, but new rules about building heights led to a change in plans, reducing its height to 270 meters.
