Gregory Ruth (August 9, 1939 – June 30, 1974) was an American wrestler. He was good at wrestling and took part in the men's freestyle lightweight event at the 1964 Summer Olympics.

Before the Olympics, Gregory wrestled for the University of Oklahoma. He became a two-time NCAA champion because he was very talented and worked hard.

Sadly, Gregory died in a powerboat racing accident on June 30, 1974, in Waco, Texas. After he died, he was buried at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, Oklahoma. Even though his career was short, Gregory had a big impact on the sport of wrestling.
