Guyana at the Pan American Games

Guyana has joined sixteen Pan American Games. These are large sports events where athletes from across the Americas compete. The Pan American Games happen every few years and feature many sports.

Guyana’s athletes have won eighteen medals in these games. Medals go to the top three in each event — gold for first, silver for second, and bronze for third. Winning medals is a major achievement and shows the skill of the athletes.
