Hungary competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, from February 7 to February 23.
The team had 16 athletes. They took part in five different winter sports.
The athletes from Hungary joined many others from around the world to compete in events like skiing and ice skating.
Alpine skiing

Hungary had three athletes in alpine skiing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Edit Miklós did very well, finishing 7th in the women's downhill. This was the best result ever for Hungary in alpine skiing at the Winter Olympics. Anna Berecz finished all five races she entered, along with Tina Maze and Macarena Simari Birkner.

Hungary got to compete in speed skating at the 2014 Winter Olympics. They earned their spots from results in the fall World Cups during the 2013–14 ISU Speed Skating World Cup season. The men’s team could race.
