Handball

The Icelandic handball team found it hard to reach the 1992 Summer Olympics. Because of the Yugoslavian civil war, the Yugoslavian team could not play, so Iceland got a spot very late. They did not have much time to prepare, but they worked hard and reached the semi-finals. The team finished in fourth place. Kristján Arason was on the Icelandic team.
