Jordan at the 1984 Summer Olympics

Jordan joined the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States. This event brought athletes from many countries together to compete in sports. Jordan sent 13 athletes, 12 men and 1 woman, to take part in 12 events across 3 sports. The Olympics happen every few years and are a time for countries to celebrate sports and friendship. Jordan sent athletes to run in several events at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The men ran in races like the 800 metres, 1,500 metres, 5,000 metres, 10,000 metres, and the marathon. One woman ran in the 3,000 metres race.
One man also walked a race that was 20 kilometers long. None of the Jordanian athletes advanced to the next rounds in their events.
