Kathmandu Medical College And Teaching Hospital (KMCTH) is a medical college in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. It opened in 1997 and is a private college. It works closely with Kathmandu University.

Recognition

KMCTH is recognized by many important groups. These include the Medical Council of Nepal, the Sri Lankan Medical Council, the General Medical Council in the UK, and the Medical Council of India. Since June 2002, the teaching hospital has been listed in the WHO's World Directory of Medical Schools. It is also listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and was in the International Medical Education Directory before.

The college is part of a global network called the Network Towards Unity for Health (TUFH). This network is based in Glent, Belgium. Being part of this network helps KMCTH share knowledge and support better health care around the world.
