The Legislature of Ontario is the group of people who make laws for the Province of Ontario, the biggest province in Canada. It started in 1867 when Ontario became one of the first four provinces of Canada. The Legislature has two parts: the lieutenant governor of Ontario, who represents the King of Canada, and the elected Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Ontario’s legislators are called member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) instead of members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), a name they started using in 1938. The Legislature meets in the Ontario Legislative Building at Queen's Park in Toronto. Because of this location, people often call the Legislature “Queen’s Park” too.
