MOSEK
Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience
MOSEK is a special kind of computer program. It helps solve hard math problems called optimization problems. These problems help people make the best choices, like finding the best way to use resources or solving tricky equations.
MOSEK is good at solving big, complicated problems, especially ones with many missing pieces (called “sparse” problems). It is known for solving problems with conic quadratic and semi-definite programming.
MOSEK was made by a company called Mosek ApS in Denmark in 1997. The company is in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Over time, MOSEK added many features, like support for exponential and power cones. It can be used with many programming languages, including C#, Java, MATLAB, Python, and R. It also works with tools like AMPL, GAMS, CVXPY, and Wolfram Mathematica.
