Magnetic core
Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience
A magnetic core is a piece of magnetic material that helps control and guide magnetic fields. It is used in many useful devices such as electromagnets, transformers, electric motors, generators, inductors, loudspeakers, and recording heads. The core is usually made from metals like iron or special compounds called ferrites that can hold a magnetic field easily.
