Mets is a neighborhood in Athens, Greece. It is located between Ardettos Hill, the First Cemetery of Athens, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
The area is named after a beer brewery. A Bavarian brewer named Karl Fuchs opened the brewery. He also started the Greek beer company Fix. At that time, beer was a new drink in Greece. It arrived because of the influence of the Bavarian king Otto of Greece.
