Michael Jeffrey Jordan, also known as MJ, is a famous American businessman and retired basketball player. He was born on February 17, 1963. He played 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1984 to 2003, mostly with the Chicago Bulls.
Jordan started his career playing college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He joined the Bulls and quickly became a star. He was known for his amazing scoring and ability to jump high, earning nicknames like "Air Jordan." Jordan won many awards, including six NBA Finals Most Valuable Player awards.
