Noemi Cantele

Noemi Cantele (born 17 July 1981) is a professional road bicycle racer. In 2012, she rode for the Be Pink team in women’s cycling events and the UCI Women's World Cup.
She was part of the team that competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, riding in both the Women's road race and the Women's time trial. Her riding in these big events shows her skill and love for cycling.
Major results
Noemi Cantele has had many great achievements in her cycling career. In 2006, she won several stages of the Giro della Toscana Int. Femminile – Memorial Michela Fanini. In 2009, she won the Emakumeen Saria, GP Brissago, and Stage 5 of the Giro d'Italia Femminile. She also won the Italian National Championships ITT. She placed second in the UCI Road World Championship Women's Time Trial and the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, and third in the UCI Road Race World Championships.
In 2010, while riding for Team HTC-Columbia, she placed third overall in the Giro della Toscana Int. Femminile – Memorial Michela Fanini and the Thüringen Rundfahrt der Frauen. In 2011, she won both the Italian National Championships road race and the ITT. In 2012, she won the GP El Salvador and Stage 1 of Vuelta El Salvador, among other races.
