Peru joined the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, from February 7 to February 23, 2014. This event brought athletes from many countries together to compete in snowy and icy sports.

Peru sent three athletes to take part in two different sports. These same three athletes had also represented Peru at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Their participation showed the Olympic spirit and highlighted athletes from all over the world.

Cross-country skiing

Peru had one athlete in the cross-country skiing events at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The athlete competed even though he was hurt. He finished the race in last place, quite a bit behind the winner from Switzerland.
