Pliomeridae is a family of phacopide trilobites. These ancient sea creatures lived millions of years ago and had hard shells to protect themselves.

The family Pliomeridae includes many different groups, such as Anapliomera, Colobinion, Cybelopsis, and Encrinurella, among others.

Studying these trilobites helps scientists understand how life evolved in the ancient seas. Their fossils are found in rocks around the world, giving clues about the history of our planet and the creatures that once lived in its oceans.
