The Southern Region is one of the regions of Iceland. In Icelandic, it is called Suðurland, which means "Southern Land."

The biggest town in the Southern Region is Selfoss. In 2024, Selfoss had a population of 9,812 people, making it the most important town in the area. The Southern Region is an important part of Iceland, with many people living there and many places to explore.
