The Space Force Association (SFA) is an American independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit group that supports the United States Space Force. It helps make the Space Force strong so it can keep the country safe and work well with friends around the world.
The SFA also encourages learning and talking about space for people who work in space jobs. It brings together experts and workers to share ideas and help improve space skills.
History
The Space Force Association started on October 29, 2019, two months before the United States Space Force was created on December 20, 2019. It is similar to the Air Force Association, which began in 1946 to help start the United States Air Force in 1947.
Since it began, the Space Force Association has done many interviews and podcasts with leaders and members of the Space Force about its growth and space plans.
On September 9, 2020, some U.S. senators announced the start of the Space Force Caucus, something the Space Force Association had been helping to organize since March 2020.
