The Stadio Holdings Headquarters in Durbanville, Western Cape โ€“ a modern building representing an educational organization in South Africa.

Stadio Holdings is a private company in South Africa that helps with education. It has three different schools. It began as part of a company called Curro Holdings but became its own company in 2017.

The company runs many schools and helps students learn all over the country. Stadio Holdings is located in Durbanville in the Western Cape region. It is large enough to be one of the top 100 companies in South Africa.

History

Stadio started as part of a private education group called Curro Holdings in 1998. In 2013, Stadio separated from Curro to focus on higher education. It later listed on the JSE Limited in October 2017.

In 2017, Stadio took over a fashion design school in South Africa. By 2019, it planned to start its own IT and medical training schools. In 2024, Stadio began building a new campus in Durbanville, Western Cape. This big project cost R370 million and will have space for up to 5,000 students starting in 2026. The campus opened in October 2025 and will offer many different courses. In March 2026, Stadio shared its plan to have 80,000 students by 2030 and will build more classrooms at its campuses.

Operations

Stadio runs three schools: STADIO Higher Education, AFDA, and Milpark. STADIO Higher Education is the largest of the three.

By 2024, Stadio offered many courses at 16 locations. These courses ranged from basic certificates to advanced degrees.

As of March 2026, Stadio had many students. Most studied from home through distance learning.

For the school year of 2024, many students finished their studies at Stadio.
