Sudan at the 1992 Summer Olympics

Sudan sent athletes to the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The team was organized by the Sudan Olympic Committee.
Six men from Sudan took part in the games. They competed in three sports: athletics, judo, and weightlifting. This was Sudan's way of joining athletes from around the world to celebrate sport.

Athletics

Three athletes from Sudan took part in the athletics events. Stephen Lugor ran in the men's 400 m, Khalid Mosa competed in the men's long jump, and Adam Hassan Sakak ran in both the men's 100 m and men's 200 m.
Sakak ran the men's 100 m on July 31, 1992, but did not move on to the next round. Lugor ran the men's 400 m on August 1, 1992, but also did not advance. Sakak ran the men's 200 m on August 3, 1992, but did not go further. Mosa took part in the men's long jump on August 5, 1992, but did not reach the final.

Judo

Two athletes from Sudan joined the judo events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Hamid Fadul was in the men's −78 kg group, and Awad Mahmoud was in the men's −71 kg group.
Fadul competed on July 30, 1992, and Mahmoud on July 31, 1992. In the first round, both athletes met strong opponents and could not go further in the tournament.

Weightlifting

One athlete from Sudan joined the weightlifting events. His name was Mubarak Fadl El-Moula. He competed in the –75 kg category on July 30, 1992. He lifted 90 kg in the snatch but did not lift in the clean and jerk.
