Tazhong

Tazhong (Chinese: 塔中镇; Pinyin tǎ zhōng zhèn) is a town in Qiemo County, in the Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang. It was created on July 24, 2015. The town has one community called Tazhong Community (Chinese: 塔中虚拟社区).
Tazhong usually has about 20,000 people. However, most of these people are temporary and move away after a time. Even though it is new, Tazhong is important for the local area.
Geography
Tazhong is in the middle of the Taklamakan Desert. This desert is one of the biggest sandy deserts in the world.
