University of Transport and Communications

The University of Transport and Communications is a state university in Hanoi, Vietnam. It started in 1918 as the College of Public Works when Vietnam was ruled by France. The university closed for a time but reopened on November 15, 1945, by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, still called the College of Public Works. In 1996, the Japanese School of Hanoi began using part of the university campus, bringing an international feel to the area.

  • 2016–2024: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long
  • 2024–present: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hung
