Xu Zheng (Eastern Wu)

Xu Zheng was an important person from around the 200s. He worked for the Eastern Wu and had a job called "Taichang."
Xu Zheng was also a writer who believed in Daoist ideas. He wrote books named the "Three Five Historic Records" and Wuyun Linian Ji. These books share old stories and information about calendars.
In his writings, Xu Zheng told different versions of how the world began. One of these stories was about Pangu. The numbers "3-5" in his book titles refer to the "Three August Ones and Five Emperors," important characters from ancient Chinese tales.
