Aiaktalik Island is a quiet, uninhabited place located in the Gulf of Alaska. It sits just about 1.2 miles (1.9 km) south of Kodiak Island, making it a close neighbor to one of Alaska’s well-known islands. Near Aiaktalik, you can also find the Trinity Islands, which lie about 5 miles (8 km) further south.

The island covers an area of about 20 km², but no people live there. Instead, it remains a natural and peaceful part of the Alaskan landscape, offering a quiet home to wildlife and plants that thrive in the area. Its location makes it an interesting spot for those who study the geography and ecology of the Gulf of Alaska.
