Alessio di Savino

Alessio di Savino (born May 22, 1984) was an Italian amateur boxer. He took part in big competitions, including the 2008 Summer Olympics, the 2009 World Championships, and three European Championships ((/wiki/2008_European_Amateur_Boxing_Championships), (/wiki/2010_European_Amateur_Boxing_Championships), and (/wiki/2013_European_Amateur_Boxing_Championships)).

During the 2008 Olympics, Alessio fought in the men's featherweight division, which is for boxers weighing up to 57 kilograms. In his first match, he faced Raynell Williams and lost, but his participation showed his skill and determination as an athlete. His career included many efforts to compete at the highest levels of amateur boxing.
