Alexandria Stadium (Arabic: إستاد الأسكندرية) is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Moharram Bey district of Alexandria, Egypt. It was opened in 1929 by King Fouad I and is the oldest stadium in both Egypt and Africa.
After being remodeled and renovated between 2016 and 2017, the stadium now holds up to 13,660 people. It is where the Al-Ittihad football team plays its home games. Over the years, it has hosted many important events, such as the first 1951 Mediterranean Games. It was also used for the 1986 African Cup of Nations, the 2006 African Cup of Nations, and some matches in the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
